The Frostyette is a classic old-time, roadside dairy bar with all of the tasty treats you would expect. Burgers are made fresh with hand- patted groudbeef, dressed or you can have it your way. The soft serve ice cream has that old fashioned taste you remember. Nostalgia overload, Frostyette is worth the stop.
I don't know these people turn a profit. One order of small fries was comparable to a large at any fast food restaurant. Not to mention the fries themselves were huge. The tomato, lettuce, and onion were fresh, and th e onion slice was perfect. The hamburger was made by hand, not a frozen patty. The staff are so friendly too. That was my first visit.
The best food in town Very friendly staff and the best ice cream Just a place you'll have to try if your ever in town!!!
We ordered 3 double bacon cheeseburgers 2 large sides and 3 shakes for under $30. I just saw someone 1 person who ate at 5 Guys for that amount.
We ordered on the phone and it was ready when we got there which was not long after so I was pretty impressed. Burger is pretty good. It was a little smaller than I expected but lots of great flavor. Fries are basic crinkle fries which they give you salt to put on. Peanut butter shake was good. Prices are great. It’s nice to see a place that is affordable for a family to eat. I would go back!! Take cash it’s cash only.
Decent little place to get something to eat, A real mom and pop type place. I wish it was off the road a little more and had more outside seating but parking is pretty limited and they have to really use up the extra space they have for that. But it does have a little picnic table to the left of the place. I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich a Coke and a order of breaded mushrooms. The sandwich was a little smaller than what I'm used to, but it was tasty the meat was fresh and I asked them to caramelize the onions and they said it came that way. Although the sandwich was a little small it did have a decent helping of meat on it and after finishing the sandwich and breaded mushrooms I felt full " I ate two or three breaded mushrooms before taking the picture " And I think the bill came to about $9 and considering that was with a beverage a sandwich and a side that's not bad at all definitely cheaper than McDonald's and they have a decent menu of your average mom and pop type food. I had a hamburger a few years ago and I had no issues with it. I would stop here more frequently if they accepted debit cards " THEY DON'T. So if you're on your way to Mckee/Sand Gap area you should definitely stop and check it out.
Best BBQ pulled pork sandwich ever!! The wait is a bit longer but that's only because everything is fresh!! I also got some cheese wedges, absolutely fantastic! The shakes(I had peanut butter) are thick and full of flavor! They aren't thick enough that they won't come through the straw. Very easy to drink and very tasty! You should definitely stop by if you're ever in the area! I really appreciate the variety!
Food was good. Had it twice and was consistent. The facility was kind of rough but not uncommon for a drive up service. Call in orders were ready quickly.
